Privacy and the promise

What we do not do

• We collect no information about you when you read these pages or use the apps.
• We set no cookies. This site has none.
• We use no analytics, and we do not count visits.
• We send nothing to a third party, and we resell nothing.
• We show no advertising, and we take no payment to put anything in front of you.
• What the child or pupil does in an app stays on the device. It never reaches us.

What does happen, said plainly

A subscription that collects no traces. You sign in with your email address; what you do in the apps stays on your device.

We need a name and an email address for subscribers, for the payment arrangement. You sign in with email.

Your browser fetches these pages from a server, and that server sees your IP address, as every server on the internet does. We keep no log of it and have turned off all statistics at the provider.

If you write to post@sporlaus.no, we receive your email. We use it to answer you, and for nothing else.

The language apps can be connected to an AI model you choose and pay for yourself. The question then goes from your device straight to that provider, not past us. We see none of it. This connection is optional, and the apps work without it.

If you choose the light or the dark display, that choice is stored in your browser on this device. It is not a cookie, it is not sent anywhere, and no one else can read it. If you never touch the button, nothing is stored.

The apps with AI need either your own account with an AI provider or an AI running on your own machine. What you write to the provider goes to them and not to us.

The test group survey

If you are in the test group, you can answer a survey about the apps. It is entirely voluntary, and you may skip every single question.

What we receive is the answers you write, which language the form was in, whether it is your first or second time, and the date. Not the time of day — when the group is ten people, a timestamp down to the second is in practice a name.

What we do NOT receive: your IP address, which browser you use, any cookie, or any id tying your two answers together. If you want us to see what has changed between the first and second time, you choose a word yourself and write it both times. We do not know whose word it is.

The form asks you not to write children's names. If you write one anyway, it is stored as written — we do not read through and remove it for you.

Answers are deleted six months after the last response. They are not sold, not shared, and not used for anything other than making the apps better.

Children

The children's apps are made for children from three years old. They have no account, no chat, no links out of the app and nothing to buy inside the app. An adult should be able to hand the app to a child without reading terms first.
